Message and then it reverse calculates for torque based on RPM.

All I was saying is that I think the 224X dynojet
with the smaller drum (24"dia) vs. the 248X with a 48" drum produces some differences. On the same token of your argument, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that the car made about the same power but the torque was 60ft/lbs lower. It is almost like the wheels are slipping a little on the smaller drum at its torque peak, but once the torque falls off a bit and everything catches up at higher RPM, the horsepower peak reading is correct.

We noted the same phenomena with several different cars that had been dyno'd at Higgins (with the 248X) and then at Z1's dyno (224X) and the torque figures always seemed to be notably lower while the horsepower figures were about the same. I think it has to do with the thing I mentioned.
